General Information
Society of Aerospace and Nuclear Engineers (SANE) is an international, independent, non-profit association of engineers with experience in the aerospace industry and/or nuclear energy. We believe that combining the knowledge and skills from each of these high-tech industries and sharing them among specialists will not only help solve specific problems in one or another industry, but will also provide a synergistic effect – especially in complex, interdisciplinary research and development.
The goals of the Society, the principles of its organization and management are largely informal. They are described on the page: About SANE. You can find the terms of membership in the Society on the page: Membership. Despite the Society's focus on aerospace and nuclear engineers, we will be glad to cooperate with representatives of other fields of knowledge, science and technology. The current areas of activity of the Society are presented on the page: Activities.
One of the Society's goals is to preserve knowledge. To achieve this goal, the Society uses modern information technologies and information resources. We post messages about the information resources we create, as well as relevant publicly available electronic documents, on the page: Resources.
The Society publishes the electronic journal Design Problems and Knowledge Management (DPKM). Issues of this journal are announced on the page: DPKM. They are also posted there – once every two months.
