Society of Aerospace and Nuclear Engineers (hereinafter referred to as the Society) is an international, independent, non-profit, largely informal association of engineers with experience in the aerospace industry and/or nuclear energy who share the goals of the Society and contribute to their implementation.

The goals of the Society are as follows:

  • preservation of knowledge accumulated in these industries, its generalization and improvement;

  • search for knowledge in other fields of science and technology that can contribute to the development of these industries, and elaboration of recommendations for their application;

  • identification of problems arising in the aerospace industry or nuclear energy, including those common to them, which can be solved through the exchange of knowledge, in particular knowledge specific to each of the industries, also bearing in mind the possible synergistic effect;

  • transfer of knowledge to new generations of specialists and young people interested in aerospace and nuclear technologies, within the framework of research, training, educational, publishing and other activities;

  • assistance in solving emerging problems through participation in the development and testing of new, including emerging, technologies to ensure further sustainable and safe technological and social development;

  • realization of the creative engineering and research potential of the Society members, which – for one reason or another – is not used within the framework of their employment;

  • moral and informational support for members of the Society, including retired specialists, representing their interests in contacts and events of a professional and social nature.
