The journal Design Problems and Knowledge Management (DPKM) publishes articles and notes covering the problems faced by designers of airplanes, helicopters, space and aerospace vehicles, nuclear power plants and other complex technical systems that are created on the verge of art. Some of these problems are related to the manifestations of human factors - in the range from the creators of the systems to their operators. This topic is also in the focus of our attention.
Since 2025 the publisher of this journal is SANE. One volume, comprising 6 issues, is published annually. Each issue includes one to several articles, the authors of which may be members of SANE or other creative individuals. The main criterion for inclusion of an article or note in the issue is the significance of the publication in terms of covering design problems or contribution to knowledge management.
The complete archive of the journal issues is currently under construction and will be available in the near future.
